02 Data that may be processed
- Technical identifiers (anonymous / user ID, device identifiers) for account, favorites, and optional sync;
- Preferences (language, theme, notification time, favorites);
- Purchase data related to FaitDuJour+ subscriptions (via Apple / Google and RevenueCat);
- Usage and diagnostics (analytics, crashes) to improve the app;
- Push notification token if you enable notifications (OneSignal / Apple & Google systems).
We do not ask for your name, postal address, or card details directly in the app: payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play.
03 Purposes
- provide the FaitDuJour service (facts, favorites, archives);
- manage Premium subscriptions and purchase restore;
- send daily reminders if you consented;
- measure usage, fix bugs, and secure the service;
- respond to support requests.
04 Legal bases
Depending on the case:
- performance of a contract (app and subscription);
- legitimate interest (security, improvement, aggregated stats);
- consent (push notifications, where applicable).
05 Processors / providers
Depending on the app configuration, the following may apply:
- Apple / Google (distribution, in-app payments);
- Firebase (Google) — backend, analytics, crashlytics;
- RevenueCat — subscription management;
- OneSignal — push notifications (if enabled).
These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers depending on their role (especially app stores).
06 Retention
Data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above (account / subscription lifetime, legal obligations), then deleted or anonymized.
07 Your rights
Under the GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in France: CNIL).

08 Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable local minimum age). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.
